All our teas are Certified Organic. Certified Organic are teas produced under the authority of the Organic Foods Production Act.

The principle guidelines for organic production are to use materials that enhance the ecological balance of natural systems and that integrate the parts of the farming system into an ecological whole. 

Any processing of the tea is done under chemical free conditions, and growers are routinely tested for pesticide contamination as part of the accreditation process. The certification process is an assurance that the grower is doing everything they can to reduce the chance of pesticide or chemical contamination.
